Marriage is one of the most and most rewarding commitments that we make. We make promises to someone long before we know what happens next. It’s as if we peer into the future and instead of seeing nothing much at all, we decide that we see ourselves there, older and changed and loved. And it all takes such courage and such hope.
You always ask me if I would find me in the next life. And the truth is, I know I would. Because I found you in every lifetime before us. And I’ll keep finding you in the ones still ahead. I’ll always find you.
