Marriage is one of the most and most rewarding commitments that we make. We make promises to someone long before we know what happens next. It’s as if we peer into the future and instead of seeing nothing much at all, we decide that we see ourselves there, older and changed and loved. And it all takes such courage and such hope.
You brought light into my life in ways I never could have imagined. Your smile and your laugh still brighten my days like nothing else can. And somehow, you never stop surprising me. You continue to teach me, challenge me, and inspire me to grow into the best version of myself.
