When Clarissa and Brian mentioned how they talked on AIM at the start of their relationship, we knew they had been through some times together already. It’s rare to see such lifelong relationships like these heading into marriage these days, and it’s a true testament to how connected they are to one another to have already known and been with each other for almost their whole lives.
Throughout their wedding day, Michelle & Kiet kept telling us how awkward and weird they are, especially when being photographed. But honestly, we loved it, because that’s what gives them so much personality as a couple. It’s those little quirks that really emphasize just how comfortable and totally in love they are with one another.
A fun fact we learned is that Sophie & Tin are both civil engineers who met at their work. The Jeffrey Open Space Trail in Irvine (a popular spot for photos) is actually one of the projects that Tin directly worked on through their firm. Learning that, it was really nice to see that they could make it a part of their big day.
As Esther & Tommy told us, the lighthouse in Ranchos Palos Verdes holds special meaning for the two of them as it was where they began their journey together so it was really fitting to be able to capture them in that same spot as they begin this new chapter together.
It’s been 9 months since we last saw Susan & LuÃs for day 1 of their wedding celebration, and things have definitely changed since then! As you can see in the highlights video, they are now expecting a *SPOILER ALERT* baby boy. This was the first time we’ve shot both a wedding and gender reveal all in one, and the excitement definitely could not be contained. Congrats again to Susan & LuÃs and their new family together!
Tammy & Andrew are the epitome of when opposites attract. While they may be very different in personality, together they find balance and make the other a better person. You can see this in just how naturally happy and full of laughs they are around each other.
I’m very happy that Cecilia & Minh were able to make it all work out, and the day turned out lovely. They were a delight to work with from start to end. Though this highlights currently just features essentially half of their wedding, we’re looking forward to seeing them again next year at their reception, after which we’ll be able to put the finishing touches to complete their film. Congrats again to Cecilia & Minh.
The story of Tracy & David is one of how each life was made immensely better when they each came into each other’s lives. Somewhat opposite in their personality, the two became a perfect pairing that complemented the other in all the best ways.
